Lunch and Food Allergies

Lunch

All children enrolled in Full Day Program have the option of bringing lunch from home or participating in the catered hot lunch program.

When bringing lunch from home, please pack a nutritious lunch. Carbonated beverages and candy are NOT allowed. Any food sent from home that is to be served warm or cold should be sent in a thermos or with a cold pack. MCHL cannot heat or refrigerate lunches brought from home.

For the catered lunch program, you may choose to enroll in the hot lunch program for the entire school year. The cost of the catered lunch program is $100 per month. A lunch menu will be sent home monthly for those children who are enrolled in the hot lunch program.

Food Allergies

Parents of children with special dietary needs must inform MCHL to ensure against food allergic reactions. Parents in the class of a child with strong food allergies will be informed of the nature of the allergies.
