Our Mission

The Montessori Children’s House of Loudoun strives to create a safe , nurturing and stimulating learning environment for young children. The classrooms are carefully designed to spark curiosity and foster discovery for each child enrolled. Learning occurs in an inquisitive, cooperative and non- competitive environment. It is our mission to create an atmosphere of mutual respect and kindness while always recognizing the inherent dignity of each child. At the same time, it is our mission to develop supportive and caring relationships with the families who entrust their children in our care.

Why choose Montessori Children's House of Loudoun?

We Meet Children Where They Are

We allow each child to move and learn at their own pace. We know that learning is not linear.

We Emphasize More than Just Academics

We focus on curiosity, independence, compassion, collaboration, and critical thinking.

...but the Academics are a Huge Strength

Our curriculum presents skills at the time when children are most ready to learn.

We're a Community

We view our relationship with you as a partnership, working together for the benefit of your child.

Parent Reviews

For the past six years, MCHL has been a second home for our family. I was looking for a true Montessori school for my sons–one that follows the principles of the Montessori method and nurtures the whole child. That is what we found at MCHL.With a 26-year history MCHL has also built a true school community. It offers a welcoming and diverse environment that celebrates the differences among us, as well as what connects us. The love and care the teachers and staff have for the children shows in all the ways they go above and beyond. Any parent who chooses to send their child to MCHL will know that their child is being cherished, supported, and challenged every single day.

Choosing to send our three children to MCHL has been one of the best and most impactful decisions that we have made for them. The administration and teaching excellence at MCHL is unmatched. The strong academic foundation, love of learning, art, language, music, culture, and friendships that MCHL has instilled will be carried by our kids throughout their whole lives.
